no. 3/2005 - 12 Nov 2005

Dear Customer,
The new release 2.1 is
available for download.
The Update is released free
of charge to all the registered Customers, without
having to change the License Codes. You can simply
download and install it over the previous release to have
it up and running.
What's new:
- When Odbc 4 All is
running in batch mode, without any user
intervention, and the initial screenshot has been
disabled, it does not create any window at all.
In this way, if you are calling Odbc 4 All by a
DOS application at full screen, Windows will
leave the focus to your application, without
recalling the GUI mode anymore.
- Product activation
(needed only to disable the initial screenshot)
can now be performed automatically, without
involving the Support Team, if your machine is
connected to the Internet.
If the machine is not connected to the Internet,
you can still activate the product by e-mailing
the Support Team, like before.
- Other minor
improvements
Our offices
will be closed for vacation from 18 Nov till 2 Dec
included.
You can purchase your licenses also
during the closing period because the ordering system is
totally automated, but if you want to manually
activate your Odbc 4 All license(s)
please contact us before the 17th, or
you'll have to wait after our return.
You can download the new
version from http://www.aswit.com/odbc4all/edown.htm. Your previous
license keys will be still valid.
As usual, your opinions,
comments, suggestions or requests for new features are
welcome.
Kind regards,
Davide Guolo
